School Introduction and Salt Cathedral

In the morning we will travel to our school site. We will take a tour of the school and learn about their mission, educational vision, and approach in the classroom. We will each be assigned a task given our interest areas (provided prior to travel). Tasks could include but are not limited to: curriculum design, assistant teaching, and extracurricular planning and execution. We will be introduced to our tasks and begin working on our individual projects in the classrooms.

In the afternoon, we will embark on a journey to the Salt Cathedral, a cathedral that has been built underground in a salt mine and that is home to 14 various chapels within its structure. The architecture is world renowned and nothing short of spectacular. Afterwards, we will travel back to Bogota and spend the night enjoying the city.
